Meet The Director
Hello!
My name is Valacier Battie and I am the Executive Director of Camp Broadway. I have performed and starred in several plays which resulted in me receiving a full music scholarship to Liberty University. My passion for watching children learn and grow in a wholesome environment led me to this position in 2013. Cultivating curiosity in a fun and loving environment is what our camp is all about.
The staff and I have a great love and enthusiasm for this program. Our first priority is to ensure that all campers are safe and that the experience they have with us is positive and long-lasting. At Camp Broadway, we shoot for the stars.

Hello!
My name is Jessica Davis and I am the Executive Director of The Backyard Club. I have worked summer camps for five years, three of those years I was the Summer Camp Coordinator. My desire to serve kids during the summer has lead to the creation of The Backyard Club and the development of curriculum for a full-day camp. The curriculum involves different themes each week with crafts and activities that align with the theme of the week. Each week also invites campers to explore the community with field trips that connects to the theme of each week. I use my background in education to develop a well-rounded curriculum that encourages active thinkers and fosters creativity.
